After an incredible 18 months on Whitstable High Street, I’ve made the decision to close the studio doors — but this is far from goodbye.

The LRM Studio was never just a shop. It was a place where art came alive — a sanctuary of creativity, conversation, and connection. Within those four walls, I had the privilege of meeting so many of you face-to-face, helping you choose the perfect art prints, original paintings, or Lola Darcy candles to bring into your homes. Every visit, every conversation, and every purchase was a reminder of why I started this journey in the first place: to make art and design a part of everyday living.

The Whitstable Story

Opening the studio in Whitstable in 2022 was a leap of faith. I wanted to create a destination where people could not only discover art, but also experience it in the context of home styling, fragrance, and lifestyle. Whitstable, with its blend of coastal calm and vibrant creative community, became the perfect backdrop.

The studio quickly became more than a gallery — it was a reflection of Whitstable living. From candlelit events to seasonal launches, it was a space filled with the scent of Whitstable Love and Knightsbridge Nights candles, the textures of hand-wrapped gift sets, and the excitement of new collections arriving on the shelves.

Why I’m Closing the Studio

Closing the Whitstable studio wasn’t an easy decision. But retail — and the way we connect with art — has changed. The truth is, The LRM Studio has outgrown its four walls.

By focusing online, I can share my work with a global audience, offering the same level of storytelling and detail that local visitors experienced in Whitstable.
